Description:
|
In this episode, host Peter Krogh sits down with Thomas Sowell, the prominent black economist and social commentator. Born in North Carolina, Sowell grew up in Harlem. He received a bachelor's degree from Harvard, a master's degree from Columbia and a PhD from the University of Chicago. In 1980, he became the Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution. A prolific author, Sowell frequently provoked controversy with his commentary on race and ethnic conflict. In this interview, Dr. Sowell discusses his latest book, The Economics and Politics of Race: An International Perspective, which examines how different races and ethnicities fare in different societies.
