29/120ed. 120 (total all states)The wood block had to be reworked extensively to produce a second state. The changes appear on the right side of second-state impressions. The second-state proofs can be identified by the rug's short fringe strands. Covey said in 1986 that the block had deteriorated. Covey stopped printing the edition after she completed about 61 proofs. This first proof of the second state was inadvertently numbered 29/120. This proof has two tiny printing tears in the image bedspread roll. This proof was the first pulled after the wood block was recut.Topless woman seated on chair in bedroom.
