Ledger which includes: transcriptions of land deeds dating back to 1662; account of the settlement of Maryland; transcription of letters from Father General John Roothan of the Society of Jesus on the study and use of the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius, December 27, 1834, and on the Centennial Year; account of the establishment of Catholicity in Philadelphia; historical sketch of the Early Christian Mmissions among the Indians of Maryland read before the Maryland Historical Society, June 8, 1846, by B. V. Campbell. Towards the back, a note reads: "This valued volume is placed under the care of Father Coleman Nevils, S.J., Rector of Georgetown University . . ."
