Top 100 Bioethics Journals in the World, 2015

Abstract

I was curious to find out what the top 100 most cited bioethics journals of all time are after having completed the analysis of the “Top 50 Bioethics Journals and Top 240 Most Cited Bioethics Articles Published Since 2009”. Using Harzing’s Publisher or Perish software I analyzed over 52,000 articles published since 1945 (with nearly all articles being published in the last 45 years since 1970). The selection of journals included nearly all of the Bioethics Research Library’s recommended bioethics journals and then also many of the journals included in “Selected Bioethics Journals in The Physician’s Index for Ethics in Medicine” by the Philosopher’s Index. Non-English journals are also included, so you will see Spanish, French, German and Italian journals represented in this list
