Dr. Borelli speaks about some historical factors shaping the process which led to Nostra Aetate, as well as the work of early practitioners of dialogue in the wake of the declaration. The interview deals especially with the American context for dialogue, including ecumenical and interreligious events which precede the council, current interreligious efforts at Georgetown and other Jesuit universities, and the nature of secularism.
