This short interview deals with some factors which influenced Nostra Aetate and attitudes toward interreligious dialogue, including the transition from Pope John XXIII to Pope Paul VI. Baioli explains a sculpture which depicts several key figures who represent various currents active at the council, including Cardinal Bea.
