This collection features transcripts of the full interviews with nine individuals following September 11, 2001: a construction worker, a fire-fighter, a police officer, a fiancée, a high school student, a tax professional, a life partner, a Muslim-American teacher, and a volunteer. The interviews took place between 2002 and 2009, and form the basis for the stories depicted in the Peabody award-winning documentary film Rebirth, which was presented at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and released in theaters by Oscilloscope in August of 2011. Excerpts from these interviews can be seen in the nine short videos in the Project Rebirth Digital Archive.
