Description
Nick Chirls was a high school student when he lost his mother, the woman he loved and respected as “the glue of our family.” She was working in the financial industry at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center on September 11th. His mother’s tragic death sent Nick reeling. Coming to grips with loss at the same time as he was growing up, Nick set out on a personal search to find the best way to honor all that his mother meant to him. Nick struggles to deal with his anger and grief as he adapts to his mother’s absence in his life and the changes her death causes in his family.
