This session is meant to discuss strategies on how to incorporate themes of diversity and difference into STEM classes. The session will bring into the room individuals who have tackled these issues in designing/redesigning STEM classes across different pedagogical styles and disciplines. The main goal is to share strategies, ideas, approaches and challenges faced in developing these courses. We will also discuss why these themes are important, particularly and specifically in STEM.
