Project Rebirth Archival Videos

This collection, available exclusively to the Georgetown University community, features unedited archival videos of the full interviews that form the basis of the Peabody award-winning documentary film Rebirth, which was presented at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and released in theaters by Oscilloscope in August of 2011. The interviews were conducted between 2002 and 2009, and feature the stories of nine individuals that were affected by September 11, 2001: a construction worker, a fire-fighter, a police officer, a fiancée, a high school student, a tax professional, a life partner, a Muslim-American teacher, and a volunteer. Openly-accessible excerpts from these interviews can be seen in the nine short videos in the Project Rebirth Digital Archive.
