Description
Letter from John M. Davenport enquiring whether Edward Hermon wants to act as a magistrate for the Commission of Peace. Also, a letter from a professor at Oxford, accounting for the high bills of a past school term. The letter is probably referring to Hermon's son, George Hermon.
