Description
Letters, bills and receipts concerning Edward Hermon's affairs and business transactions. Specially important are the letters written to Hermon by the representative of the Duke of Sutherland, Arnold Burrowes Kemball, regarding the lease, the shooting rights and improvements on the Balnacoil estate, Brora. Along the same lines, there are numerous letters from the Duke's estate manager, J. Peacock. Also a letter from Somers Clarke, and an estimate to build a peach house.
