Evitando el Exilio: Formalización Dominial y Gentrificación en la Urbanización de La Villa 31 – 31Bis, 2017-2019

Abstract

This investigation explores the relationship between slum upgrading projects and the unleashing of gentrification dynamics through the case of the urbanization project of Villa 31-31bis. For this, the history of the villas in City of Buenos Aires in general and of Villa 31-31bis in particular until the beginning of the urbanization project itself is explored and different alternatives of anti-gentrification public policy are analyzed.
