Abstract

This edition is a transcript of the July 8-9, 1977 meeting of the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research. Commission members discussed the following topics: 1. Research Involving Children, 2. Research not subject to regulation by the Secretary, DHEW, 3. Institutional Review Boards, 4. Genetic research, and 5. Research involving those institutionalized as mentally infirm.
