    Binalakshmi talks about growing up in the warzone of Manipur and when she was in university and learned what living outside of martial law was like. She talks about being caught between all sides of the violence in Manipur including the Indian military. She also talks about getting involved in peace activism and arms control through acting against gender based violence. She talks about starting Control Arms Foundation of India (CAFI), 2004, and Manipur Women Gun Survivors Network (MWGSN) and where good peacebuilding work comes from.
