In this interview, Sivagami "Shiva" Subbaraman and Toddchelle Young continue their conversation from the interview on March 12, 2021. The discussion focuses on why the need for spaces like the LGBTQ Resource Center are important and how, specifically, the Center at Georgetown worked to create a safe space for dialogue and student expression as well as to educate students on the basics of things like sex education, gender and sexual identity, and coming out, among other topics. Young discusses her time as a student leader, her work to host HIV testing events on campus, and the changes she has witnessed to campus culture over time.
