Description
Holograph letter from 'K.' (P.T. Keohane), 91 Hollybank Road, Drumcondra, Dublin, to (Hagan), thanking him for the invitation to Rome he may accept it in the near future. Stating that he met a mutual friend who explained 'the unfortunate, but to me, not unexpected developments, in his case'. Wondering how one usually so prudent did not 'turn the foreigner down'. His application for the (vice-rectorship) ought to cut all opposition out of court. Having made enquiries about 'the western candidate' he has only found out that, while 'sound', he takes no prominent part in things.
