dc.descriptionCopy typescript draft letter from [Hagan], Rome, to Monsignor [...] [Vatican Secretariat of State]. Suggesting a system of direct acknowledgement of receipt of Peter's Pence for each diocese - the Archbishop of Tuam, for one, has repeatedly asked for acknowledgement this year, and it is seen to be a perpetual problem. Then referring to a visit by Count della Torre, sent to investigate into complaints about the Osservatore Romano: the bearer of this letter was a witness to that conversation and can repeat the points brought up.
