Description
Holograph letter from Bishop William Codd, Summerhill, Wexford, to Hagan. Applauding Hagan having directed the 'memorialists' to the proper quarter since the case will be decided on its merits, not through anybody's influence. Outlining his next steps regarding documents for Fidecicchi, and his argument that Bishop Browne himself should have had a right to review his promise for a full monastery; the question whether the school itself can be classed as a community; discussing other points to use in his argument. Quoting a letter from the Abbot of Downside to Fr. Sweetman of May 1919.
