Description
Holograph letter from Archbishop T.P. Gilmartin, St. St. Jarlath's, Tuam (County Galway), to Hagan. Enclosing a paragraph (not extant), asking whether it holds true regarding pressing for vacations. Explaining he has one 'clever boy' who ought to go to Rome on the Gallagher scholarship; hoping that those leaving All Hallows will choose to come to Rome. One other from Tuam decided to join the Chinese Mission. (Hard to decipher.)
