dc.descriptionHolograph letter from M.J.C.[urran], Rome, to Hagan, discussing and enclosing correspondence from Ireland - he responded to Mr. Daniel that it was inconvenient having two pilgrimages that close and that Hagan would only deal with the Eucharistic Congress were there to be equality for Ireland with the other nations. Also stating that G.[avan] D.[uffy] leaves Rome for Switzerland. Also stating that the so-called family tax is to be doubled, bread costing ten centesimi more.
