Description
Holograph letter from P. [Watson], St. Patrick's College, Carlow, to Hagan, to let him know 'what became of me in the world'. He is junior dean and bursar and came to Carlow with Dr. Hurley. Brief remarks about Dr. Gogarty, whose business in Rome came as a surprise; about the new Kildare man; a very gifted Mr. Bannon who could not be coaxed to go to Rome. The political situation has calmed down, reviving everybody's hopes again.
