Description
Holograph letter from Bishop Joseph MacRory, St. Malachy's College, Belfast (County Antrim), to Hagan, sending a cheque for Mass intentions for Miss Jane [Hines]. Then informing him that the Orangemen had a meeting last night 'and ranted a good deal with a ...view to influencing the meeting in Liverpool today'. The settlement will depend largely on that meeting. It is quiet now 'but doubtless we shall make up for that later on!'
