Description
Draft and typescript copy letter from Hagan to Reverend Mother, Convent of St. John of God, Wexford. Reiterating the conditions under which the College would invite sisters from her house to work at the College (as in his letter to Murphy, 2 January). Also stating that they are following the examples of the Papal Lateran seminary, and the English College; they will still depend on approval from the ecclesiastical authorities in Ireland. The sisters 'must not expect to find everything in apple-pie order all at once'. Asking to show this letter to the Bishop of Ferns.
