Description
Holograph letter from M.J. Browne, St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth (County Kildare), to Hagan, asking him to see to an extension of the dispensation from the Congregation of Studies. Browne is needed at the College. The trouble in Ireland is intensifying especially what attacks on property are concerned. The death penalty does not seem to act as a sufficient deterrent but ordinary people experience natural revulsion to such methods. Then adding that Hagan is mentioned with regard to a diocese of the eastern province whose diocesan is ill - 'prosit'.
