Description
Typescript letter signed by Richard Aylward, President of St. Kieran’s College, Kilkenny, to Hagan. Enclosing holograph letter from Archbishop Francis Redwood, Wellington (New Zealand), to Fr. Aylward, to explain why he is asking to obtain dispensation in age for Mr. Brennan's ordination. Redwood also stating they had a great victory over prohibition in New Zealand – 'it is its "Waterloo"'. [3 January - 28 April 1923]
