Description
Holograph letter from Bishop Peter (Amigo) of Southwark, Bishop's House, St. George’s Road, Southwark, S.E.1 (England), to Hagan. Asking about young priests for temporary work in the diocese; praising Roughneen; Pierce Perkins used to belong to Southwark. Offering news about Stanislaus Hughes, whose wife, a convert, put up with his temper for a time and then left him. Professor O'Cleary, and Miss O'Daly, both called on him. Only prayer can bring peace in Ireland.
