Description
Holograph letter from Proinnseas Ní B. (Frances O'Brady), Strand Palace Hotel, Strand, London W.C.2 (England), to 'a chara dhil' (Hagan). She is in London because of her sister who may come to Rome soon. Hoping to send photographs soon. Hoping Hagan receives the paper regularly; Mrs. Brugha knows of it now. She sent word to the president about the situation 'out there'. Giving safe address of her cousin in Southport because of censorship. Asking his opinion about things now; they were defeated by overwhelming odds, but the main thing was 'to make acceptance of servitude impossible' and that succeeded. Of course they cannot expect to be the chosen generation.
