Description
Holograph letter from Bishop E. Mulhern, Ardmaine, Newry (County Down), to (Hagan). Enclosing typescript letter signed H.J.[C...], The Hibernian Bank Ltd., College Green, Dublin, to Mulhern acknowledging receipt of a sum for credit of Monsignor Hagan. – Listing the causes represented, concerning burses and a charity. Informing him that Dr. Kearns died; he left bequests typical for his pious and charitable nature. Approving of the proposed successor in the chapter. He only saw Curran briefly; his visit was during the busy time of confirmations. He is thinking of going to Bobbio but will not make commitments because of his elderly mother.
