Description
Holograph letter from Michael Boyle, Hohenzollernstrasse 7 I, München (Germany), to Curran. Asking his assistance in having a painting of St. Columbanus executed by Bravi, for Fr. McCarthy, Nebraska, and eventually for Bobbio. He is on holiday in Germany, observing the inexorable rise of the currency; but while he saw a handbag advertised for 12 millions, cost of living is still a little below Italian or Irish standards. Customs prevents one taking out goods.
