Description
Holograph letter from W. Miller, Braganza House, Carlow, to Hagan, enclosing cheque including sums in charity for central Europe. Asking to examine the matter of the private oratory for Mrs. Barbara Synott and son; the permission is out- standing. Also asking for a confirmation that Bishop Doyle sent his resignation to Propaganda in 1824, and for a copy of Dr. Healy's reply to Propaganda on the attempt to unite the Patrician Brothers with the Augustinians, of 1843. Adding also that there is little enthusiasm for the elections; but hoping for settled conditions to result.
