Description
Holograph letter from A.O'R. (Arthur Ryan) Coláiste Mhaolmhaodhóg, Belfast (County Antrim), to (Hagan). He will try his best to be in Piacenza on 30 August, travelling via Strasbourg and then in the footsteps of Columbanus. Dr. Mulhern cannot go; Bishop (MacRory) is not certain yet. He will write to Carl Handebecke about the music; for now recommending as hymns the Beanchuir bona regula of the Bangor Antiphonary, and the (Carmen Navale). Mentioning three who could furnish melodies for these.
