Description
Holograph letter from Archbishop Michael (Kelly), St. Mary's Cathedral, Sydney (Australia), to Hagan, in gratitude for kindness meted out to travelling clergy and laity; blessings. If there were more like Dr. Leonard and Fr. Nolan they would have no problem with native vocations. Their junior seminary will accommodate 120 students; stating need for good men. Then listing those deserving of papal honours and justifying his choice; James Thornton, Robert McDonald, John Bourke, Michael Condrick, Fr. Eugene Brauer. Asking to petition for these; enclosing cheque in donation. Dr. Sheehan has been ill for several months. With regards to superiors of various religious communities.
