dc.descriptionTypescript and copy letter both signed by Bishop Charles O'Sullivan, The Palace, Killarney (County Kerry), to Hagan. He is sending a student this year. Asking for copies of the diocesan report. In the case of Fr. O'Callaghan, formerly of Eyeries, enclosing copy of the rejection of the latter's claim by the Congregation of the Council and asking for the same in a form acceptable by Irish courts because he initiated proceedings against the bishop. Explaining the need to establish a common novitiate convent for the Presentation nuns of the diocese; listing their financial assets and asking for permission for a loan over £ 4,500. Then asking for absolution for Mrs. Kate Dunne who had been ex-communicated for interfering with property left to the Cistercians; she is repentant. Finally enclosing list of faculties, asking for renewal (not extant). (One copy of the letter is for Tivoli, to expedite matters.) [23 January - 26 September 1923]
