Description
Holograph letter from J. McShane, Coláiste Chuilmcille, Derry, to Hagan, advising him that they are sending Thomas Devine as a new student to Rome. Commenting that they are 'gradually reaping the fruits of the "Treaty" in this part of the country', having received copies of the oath of allegiance to be taken by all teachers. The Dublin press keeps quiet about this.
