dc.description	Holograph letter from A.[H.] Ryan, St. Malachy’s College, Belfast, to (Hagan), in thanks for his congratulation; his reference for him had been invaluable. Sketching the circumstances of his election by the bishops. He will teach first and second Divinity; offering comments. He knows few of his future colleagues; hoping he will be as happy as at the Irish College. Regretting that Hagan did not come to Bobbio, appreciating the reasons. With regards from his mother, and for colleagues in Rome.
