Description
Holograph letter from K.[eohane] of M.H. Gill & Son, Dublin, to (Hagan). 'Brewery' [Morrissey] has returned; he has gone south now. Promising to do what he can about the Chinese stock. Promising also to inform him immediately of any new developments. No pronouncement was made by the hierarchy concerning Sr. Frances de Sales- criticising their unanimous voting system. Asking on behalf of J.W. to examine Cardinal Gasparri's new Fontes Codicis Juris, and to order if advisable. Commenting that the feeling in the country is growing steadily. Also recommending Dr. Byrne, Provincial of the Holy Ghost order in Dublin, travelling to Rome.
