dc.description | Typescript letter from H.(agan), Rome, to Michael (Curran) [Tivoli]. Informing him that Conn Murphy and Donal O'Callaghan appeared as delegates sent on a clandestine mission from the ardfheis; they want to enquire about the pro-mises made after their appeal nine months ago. He will send them to Curran. Stating the difficulty of keeping their visit quiet, with Hill and Dwyer around but that is 'the price people have to pay for doing anything'. Advising him Michael Brown, Maynooth, will arrive today – 'fortunately...one of the faithful undeparted'. The Sisters are doing very well and making grand plans.
