Description
Holograph letter from (Sr. Mary) Celsus ('Vi'), Sisters of Mercy, Golden Bridge, Inchicore, Dublin, to Hagan (her cousin). Very disappointed he has not written or sent the papal blessing yet; urging him to do so. Asking whether their present mother bursar, Mother Malachy Mulherne, could become superioress again – she held the office for the penultimate term. They are relieved that the local superioress is not to leave; Sr. (Mary) [D...] Foster. Brief references to family members. The Archbishop held visitation in Carysfort recently.
