Holograph letter from Bishop T. O'Doherty, Mount St. Mary's, Galway, to (Hagan), supporting Hagan's plans for the College- the Archbishop of Dublin needs to act himself, since the Standing Committee only meets in Low Week. Then commenting on the army troubles, which may be due to the number of officers demobilised, as well as to the (Irish Republican Brotherhood), supposed to be active in the army. Action needs to be taken soon if the latter is true- 'we cannot afford Mexican politics'. Adding that the Clonfert appointment is eagerly expected.
