Description
Holograph letter from James O'Dea, Mount St. Mary’s, Galway, to Hagan, enclosing petition for a dispensation (not extant). Commenting on the recent changes in the political firmament. Then offering that 'in a few months more, the Dáil will be only a row of legislating Aunt Sallies, (and) none will be found poor enough to do them reverence! It is a consummation devoutly to be wished for.' Hoping Hagan has recovered.
