dc.descriptionHolograph letter from (Sr. Mary) Celsus (‘Vi’), Sisters of Mercy, Golden Bridge, Inchicore, Dublin, to Hagan (her cousin), reprimanding him for failure to write to her. Fr. Morrissey is now their confessor – ‘he is very nice [...] so droll !!!’ Remarks about the papal blessings she had sought from him. Commenting on their present reverend mother who is thought highly of also by Archbishop Byrne. Naming possible candidates for their elections in June; her dislike for one candidate’s worldly spirit (Sr. Imelda). Celsus will have an Irish exam in August.
