Description
Holograph letter from Hilda (Grennell), 55 Rathgar Road, Dublin, to Hagan, in thanks for the papal blessings, especially that for Violet. A [relative] has been transferred from Dundalk to Londonderry. Her own holidays had to be postponed. Violet came to see mother; she gets on well – so far- with their new confessor. The privileges bestowed by the Pope on the national pilgrimage and Hagan’s audience with him were covered in the papers. Sr. Carmel may be the next head of the Mater Hospital; other news from the Loreto convent in George’s Street.
