Holograph letter from Patrick J. McGrath, St. Columba’s, Drumcondra, Dublin, to ‘my dear John’ (Hagan), asking for Pope’s blessing for nuptials of Valentine J. Murray and Mary Elizabeth O’Reilly. Brief points on local clergy appointments. Things are quiet. Cosgrave ‘has fallen into consumption’ and goes to the south of France. The republicans are thought to win the Limerick election. Asks to be remembered to Tizi. Enclosing cheque for taxes and for mass intentions.
