dc.description | Typescript letter from (unsigned) [C.F. Ronayne], Dublin, to 'Carissime' (Hagan). Enclosing cutting from Universe of 20 June, asking to send it back: asking Hagan in that connection to send on certain information on Cardinal (Logue) since he was encouraged to write on the latter's thesis for the [Catholic Bulletin] Notes for October. he heard of the Cardinal's references to Italy and another country. 'Sister Katherine' [Keohane] and 'Miss Brewer' [Morrissey] have not fallen out, but the latter was a little indiscreet concerning the 'novices'. Ronayne will visit Kinsale, meeting (the Bishops of) Cloyne and Limerick on the way. Adding that New York instructed him to send [Morrissey's] novice over; the passport is a great difficulty. | |
