Description
Holograph letter from Cait Ó Ceallaigh, 91 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, to Hagan. A positive message from the United States gave her relief; everybody in Dublin seems to have been aware of Seán T.'s journey there. Promising news; at the moment it is still reported that the Free State cabinet is to be remodelled. DeValera visited their house in her absence, mostly to interview Art O'Brien- 'that episode ended as we presupposed'. Brief mention of Fr. Magennis, now in Belfast; she and Phyllis remember with great pleasure and gratitude the time with Hagan [in Paris]. Remark about the Walshes; she amused her people with stories about them. Expecting he will hear from America soon: 'maybe before Fr. Magennis leaves something funny would have happened there'.
