Description
Holograph letter from Fr. Joseph Moreau, Namur, Belgium, to Hagan, introducing himself as a close friend of the late Joseph Marmion, abbot of Maredsous until his death 28 January 1923. Wishing to write on his life, begging to answer five questions regarding Marmion's dates and career in the Irish College and beyond; asking among other things what merited the gold medal that he received in the College. He is a missionary in Brazil where he will return shortly.
