Description
Holograph letter from M.J. Browne, St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth (County Kildare), to (Hagan), having received his letter from Fr. Fair. Commenting on a paragraph in the breviary that connects with a remarkable incident between 'one man in his skin and a number of mail-clad gentlemen'. [Regarding the Archivium Hibernicum] stating that still no consensus has been reached and that Hagan's co-operation will certainly be needed. At a recent immuring at a Carmelite convent there was a large group of friends [Brady family]; he had to quieten the old man about the 'Church Militant'. Then observing that the elections shook things up; 'we are not finding the bed of roses as per invoice'.
