Holograph letter from M.J. Merlehan, Newton House [Moone, County Kildare], to Hagan, mostly with family and local news. The last year was very hard especially for the farmers. Everything is changed since 'the good old times when you were in Crookstown'; news about parishioners and fundraising for the chapel.
