Description
Holograph letter from Bishop David Keane of Limerick The Palace, Corbally, Limerick, to (Hagan), enclosing an honorarium. Glad that Mr. Kelly's ordination has been fixed; grateful for the report on the others. Not certain whether he can visit Rome during the Holy Year. Asking him to petition the Congregation of Religious to postpone retirement of two Sister of Mercy nuns for whom no successors can be identified yet; Sr. Mary Evangelist and Sr. (Mary) Bernardine. (Now attached draft letter by [Tizi] to the congregation on Keane's behalf.)
